Unfortunately Lil' Greg is going to be unavailabe for the next week, week and a half. Get this, he would rather work a real job than do some eating. Just Kidding!

I was really worried about using Bustin' Justin as a standin for Greg, talk about totally opposite personalities.

Now the Fig Newmans, which I believe can be purchased from our featured sponsor the Willy Street Coop, looked like nothing more than your regular old "fig newton" type of cookie. But when Fluffy Jon and Bustin' Justin both said that they were way better that the normal "newons" I had to give them a try, and why wait until the shoot was over. So I just grabbed one and ate it (do not expect this from me), I might do it again in the future but with only good looking food items. Maybe yours maybe not.

We all really want to eat your food, so send us some, buy a day and send it to us. You do not have to be in the food industry for us to eat your food. Send us your favorite, your most hated or just something to make Fluffy Jon hurl! A portion of the money made from this site will be going to a charitable food organization. For every day that we sell, we will send $1, for every month that sells out we will send $300, if we sell out the entire year we will send $5000. We cannot do this with out you, so please bu a day in April and keep the $5000 donation dream alive!

So the other day i went to a Starbucks. i had just finished an amazing meal at an awesome restaurant (whose name will remain anonymous unless they pay for sponsorship...) and i decided to top off the evening with a little coffee. however, i was very full and thought maybe some tea would be nice. after much debate in my mind, i decided on a "chai non-fat latte." i need to watch my calories as summer approaches...
SO, the girl made my drink. very kind and congenial. i was excited to taste this drink cause it had been years since i had a chai. i brought the drink to my lips and the aromatic texture of the chai glistened in my nostrils...(suck on that line creative writers...) i took a sip... warm milk... they gave me warm milk... i don't know where the aromas were coming from, but i was given warm milk... PERIOD...

i even gave the cup of warm milk to my lady friend, and said, "here, try this..." she replied, "oh, gross!..tastes like just warm milk!"... i rest my case...

the following day, as the producer and i drove around looking for a spot to shoot a video, i noticed a Starbucks. i said, "turn on the f#@ing camera...this is gonna be awesome!" i decided to give Starbucks a chance at redemption, only this time on camera. see, at Starbucks, the drinks are like McDonald's quarter-pounders. every one is prepared the same way, looks different, but overall, tastes consistently like an awesome grease-soaked, over-processed burger. a quarter-pounder in Alaska tastes the same as one in Florida... same
with Starbucks, only with coffee.... did i loose anyone here?... but every now and then, just like with McDonalds, you have that one experience that throws the whole process out of whack. someone messes up the totally complex laid out procedure of making a mass-consumption fast-food product causing a consumer to have a seizure. you go to starbucks with an expectation based on thousands of coffee drinks prior. and then that one time...just that ONE time, you really want that consistent sought after taste, and you are failed...

thankfully, there's a Starbucks on every frickin corner, so you can always be reminded and coaxed to trying a drink again. i saw a Starbucks on that Monday afternoon and thought, "not even a day has past Starbucks...you up for the redemption challenge?"

needless to say, starbucks did redeem themselves. the drink was phenomenal. and the shooting of the video live in a moving car was very entertaining. i hope we do more movies such as these... my only complaint in the entire experience was the outdoor tip jar at starbucks... COME ON... really?.. im in drive-thru for a purpose. i dont wanna talk, i don't care if you're a prick, i dont care if you're gorgeous. clearly, im in drive-thru because im too f#@ing lazy to get out of my car, or im so important, my presence in the store would cause a riot. the experience of drive-thru is way to short to warrant a tip. if that's the case, we should put tip jars out everywhere.

come on starbucks! do you really pay your employees that poorly that they have to put a tip jar at drive-thru just to make ends meet?..

alright, that's all i got. i hope you enjoy the video! remember: you can pre-buy days of shooting starting NOW. we begin our calendar year of shooting april 1st and if you don't understand the calendar, feel free to bug our producer. he's always down for asking questions!

later

ALOE... natures moisturizer... and health drink? The first time I drank aloe juice was in Minneapolis when my buddy Mike told me about the wonderful benefits the aloe plant offers for hydration to the body. I guess aloe can moisturize your insides as well as your outside!.. Usually, I drink the straight-up juice which tends to be bland in taste. I tried various other aloe-pulp mix drinks and found the thickness of the liquids to be unpleasant. However, this aloe drink from Korea was bomb-digity-delicious! (that is by far one of the lamest phrases I have used...) The juice was refreshing, smooth, and very tasteful. The taste was a pleasant sweetness, sort of around the likes of pear juice. Not only do I recommend this beverage, I wanna know where to purchase this little green giant of a drink! (wait a minute,..'little green giant' is a reference to a frozen vegetable manufacturer...well, a little copyright infringement never hurt Fluffy Jon!)

Well, until next time, keep on keepin on and remember... we wanna eat your food! Anything prepackaged and on the market is fair game! The more you send, the more we eat. And the more we eat, the more money we donate to charity!

Have a wonderful weekend everybody! (I'm looking at the start of a snow storm bringing a predicted 8inches of snow... so that means we'll get either 4 or 12...)

I'm Fluffy Jon and I'm kind of a big deal...

So for all you companies out there packing things in vinegar, if you want a positive review, do NOT request me to review your product!..

Fluffy Jon attempting to eat the Hormel Pork Hocks

As I looked at this container, I actually was kind of excited. I'm a huge fan of disgusting food and in the bottle, the hocks looked interesting. Once I found out this was pig's feet, I instantly asked where the bones where...AH... the bones have been removed.

When I cracked the lid and smelt the vinegar, I knew I was in trouble. I HATE vinegar. Really, I would rather take a knife and jam it in my thigh... So the texture of this substance, YES, I refer to the hocks as "substance"...Hocks are not food... the texture is like that of rubber soaked in gasoline for 30 years. Swallowing was gonna be an issue.

As soon as the hocks entered my mouth, my gag reflex from the vinegar kicked in... DISCLAIMER: DO NOT EAT INDIAN FOOD BEFORE PORK HOCKS... My body rejected the substance as fast as I was rejected from the girl at that high school dance back in 1996... I will never eat pork hocks again...PERIOD...

I have heard that you can eat these fried and soaked in different brine. I would entertain a "jerky" hock or a hock soaked in a non-vinegar brine. So for all you pork hock companies out there, beware...if you send vinegar-based pork hocks to my door, you will see what I ate for dinner...

My name is Fluffy Jon and I'm kind of a big deal...
